A suspect wanted in connection with a previous break-in at a construction site was arrested after being spotted by Shomrim volunteers on patrol.

Following the original incident, in which expensive tools were stolen, Shomrim’s IT team worked to identify the suspect through surveillance footage and digital tracking. Although the suspect initially got away, the investigation remained active.

During a routine patrol, Shomrim volunteers recognized the suspect from the earlier case and immediately notified the NYPD. Officers responded and placed the suspect under arrest.
