A suitcase packed with everything needed for Shabbos was stolen, leaving its owner in a difficult situation just before Shabbos.

After the theft was reported, the Shomrim IT Team quickly obtained a description of the suspect and followed the suspect’s direction of travel. As volunteers monitored the suspect’s movements, they noticed that after several blocks, the individual was no longer carrying the stolen suitcase.

Shomrim volunteers immediately canvassed the surrounding area and located the suitcase hidden near a group of bushes, completely untouched.

The suitcase, along with all of its contents, was safely returned to its grateful owner, preventing what could have been a major loss just before Shabbos.
