Suspect Wanted for Burglary Arrested by NYPD with the Help of Shomrim

A suspect wanted for multiple burglaries was arrested today by the NYPD with the help of Shomrim volunteers.

Over the past few days, Shomrim received numerous reports of a male suspect breaking into commercial vans in the area. In response, Shomrim’s IT team began tracking the suspect’s movements, gathering intelligence, and staying on high alert.

Earlier today, a Shomrim volunteer spotted the suspect and quickly alerted fellow volunteers. They discreetly followed him while keeping NYPD officers informed. As the suspect made his way toward a train station, the NYPD moved in and arrested him.

Following his arrest, police confirmed that the suspect was wanted for burglary. Additionally, officers discovered multiple open icards.
