Suspect Arrested by NYPD With the Help of Shomrim After Menacing Pedestrians With a Knife

A suspect was arrested by the NYPD with the help of Shomrim this evening after reportedly menacing pedestrians with a knife.

He was first spotted outside a yeshiva on 11th Avenue, where witnesses say he displayed the weapon, alarming those nearby. Concerned individuals quickly contacted Shomrim, who responded immediately and began monitoring him while notifying the NYPD.

As he started walking away, Shomrim continued following him and providing real-time updates to responding officers. The NYPD arrived shortly after and took him into custody.
