A valuable package worth thousands of dollars was stolen from the doorstep of a Boro Park home, but thanks to Shomrim’s intensive camera tracking and quick response, the stolen items were successfully returned.

The homeowner contacted Shomrim after discovering that the expensive delivery had been taken shortly after it was dropped off. Shomrim volunteers immediately began reviewing security footage from the area, carefully tracking the suspect’s movements through multiple cameras in the neighborhood.

The footage clearly showed a woman approaching the home, taking the package, and leaving the area. Through detailed camera work and follow-up, Shomrim was able to identify the suspect and trace where she was employed.

Shomrim then contacted the employer and provided the necessary information. After being confronted, the woman returned the stolen items and apologized for taking them.
