Shomrim received a hotline call reporting a shoplifting incident in progress. Volunteers arrived quickly as the suspect walked out of the store. They followed his movements while notifying the NYPD.

Officers arrived shortly after and, with Shomrim’s assistance, took the suspect into custody. The stolen merchandise was recovered and returned to its rightful owner.

The store owner was extremely grateful for Shomrim’s quick response, which led to the suspect’s arrest and the returning of all stolen items.
