The Shomrim hotline received an urgent call reporting a violent assault in progress. According to the caller, a suspect was seen chasing and beating a victim on the street.

Shomrim volunteers immediately responded to the scene while notifying the NYPD and EMS. Both agencies responded quickly.

NYPD arrested the suspect, and EMS treated the victim for injuries sustained during the attack.
