A suspect who stole a bike from a backyard last week was arrested today, thanks to the efforts of Shomrim volunteers and the NYPD.

Earlier today, Shomrim was alerted that the suspect from last week’s bike theft was driving through the neighborhood with the stolen bike. Shomrim volunteers immediately responded, discreetly following the suspect while notifying the NYPD.

The volunteers kept the suspect in sight until officers arrived. Upon their arrival, the NYPD arrested the suspect and secured the stolen bike.
