A suspect was arrested on Friday morning for allegedly stealing items from an unloading vehicle. The NYPD, with assistance from Shomrim, responded to a report of a theft in progress.

The incident occurred as a delivery vehicle was unloading goods on a local street. Shomrim patrol volunteers were first on the scene, assisting in tracking the suspect until the NYPD arrived and made the arrest.

The suspect, whose identity has not yet been released, is facing charges of theft and trespassing. Authorities are continuing to investigate the incident.
