NYPD Arrests Suspect with Shomrim’s Assistance Following Home Break-In

A homeowner received a troubling call from a neighbor reporting unusual activity at his house, which was listed for sale. The neighbor had noticed the lights inside suddenly turn on and spotted an unidentified male entering the property. Moments later, loud noises could be heard coming from inside the home.

Acting quickly, the homeowner contacted Shomrim for assistance. Volunteers arrived promptly, setting up a perimeter around the house to contain the situation while notifying the NYPD. Officers responded swiftly and began investigating the scene.

After securing the perimeter, NYPD officers conducted a thorough search of the home. The suspect was eventually found hiding in the basement. Unfortunately, the individual had already caused significant damage to the property before being discovered.

Thanks to the combined efforts of Shomrim and the NYPD, the suspect was arrested on charges of breaking and entering and damaging private property.
