Shomrim volunteers on patrol spotted a vehicle swerving dangerously through local streets, nearly hitting several parked cars. Recognizing the threat, the volunteers followed from a safe distance while immediately alerting the NYPD.

The driver continued recklessly for several blocks before turning the wrong way onto a main avenue, where he crashed head-on into another car.

The NYPD, kept updated throughout, arrived within minutes and took the driver into custody for driving under the influence and causing the collision.
