Last night, Shomrim volunteers on patrol spotted a vehicle being driven recklessly through the neighborhood. Concerned for public safety, the team kept a close watch on the situation while immediately notifying the NYPD.

The incident escalated when the driver lost control of the vehicle, crashing into a tree. Emergency Medical Services (EMS) were dispatched to the scene to evaluate the driver’s condition and provide any necessary care.

Upon their arrival, NYPD officers conducted an investigation and confirmed that the driver was under the influence of alcohol. The individual was arrested for driving under the influence.
