Shomrim received a hotline call about a suspicious vehicle on a local street. Shomrim volunteers responded and watched the car from a safe distance. They saw a man inside the vehicle asleep, with several open beer bottles around him. The engine was running, and the car was still in drive.

Shomrim notified NYPD and shared what they saw. When officers arrived, they checked the driver and confirmed that he was drunk while sitting behind the wheel with the car still engaged.

The driver was arrested for DWI.
