Two suspects were arrested after stealing several boxes of food from a local kitchen shortly after a delivery was completed.
The suspects waited in a parked car outside while workers began sorting the newly delivered items. As the workers were occupied inside, the suspects took several boxes of expensive food and loaded them into their vehicle.
The workers quickly noticed the theft and called Shomrim. Shomrim volunteers responded immediately, and before the suspects could drive off, a brief traffic jam helped block their escape.
NYPD was dispatched and arrived on scene, arresting the two suspects who were already in the vehicle attempting to flee. The stolen boxes of food were recovered at the scene.
Thanks to the fast response and coordination between Shomrim and the NYPD, the stolen goods were returned, and the suspects were taken into custody.
