A shoplifting suspect was arrested after coordinated efforts between Shomrim and the NYPD, resulting in the recovery of numerous stolen items.

The incident began when Shomrim received a hotline call reporting a shoplifting in progress at a neighborhood store. Volunteers quickly responded to the scene, keeping the suspect in sight while notifying the NYPD and providing updates on the suspect’s movements.

Moments later, NYPD officers arrived, stopped the individual, and placed them under arrest. A search revealed that the suspect had taken a large number of items from the store, all of which were returned to the business.
