A Shomrim volunteer on patrol noticed an individual lingering near parked cars, closely inspecting them and attempting to open their doors. Recognizing the suspicious behavior, the volunteer alerted other volunteers on patrol to assist in following the suspect discreetly from a distance.

After a few minutes, the suspect broke into a vehicle and began tampering with the items inside. Shomrim immediately notified the NYPD, providing updates on the suspect’s movements. Officers arrived quickly and found the suspect still inside the car, where he was arrested on the spot.
