At approximately 5:15 AM, the NYPD, with the help of Boro Park Shomrim, arrested a driver for driving while intoxicated (DWI). The arrest came after Shomrim volunteers were alerted by local residents about a vehicle driving erratically in the neighborhood.
Shomrim quickly responded to the scene, locating the vehicle and closely monitoring its dangerous movements. They immediately coordinated with the NYPD, providing crucial information that allowed officers to quickly intercept the driver.
Once on scene, the NYPD pulled the vehicle over and administered a field sobriety test, which confirmed the driver was intoxicated. The individual was arrested and taken into custody. Fortunately, no one was harmed during the incident.
