Boro Park Shomrim, in partnership with Nachas Health and Family Network and HealthFirst, is excited to announce the upcoming Shomrim Bike Registration and Community Kids Event. This special event, scheduled for Sunday, June 4th, at the intersection of 18th Avenue and 56th Street, promises an afternoon of fun, safety, and community engagement. In conjunction with Kalman Yeger and Simcha Eichenstien, this event aims to promote bike safety, encourage responsible riding, and provide families with an opportunity to register their bikes, strollers, and hoverboards.
From 2 PM to 6 PM, parents and children are invited to bring their bikes, strollers, and hoverboards to the event to have them registered. Bike registration is an essential step in preventing bike theft and increasing the chances of recovery in case of loss. Mothers can also register their strollers, ensuring a record of ownership and an added layer of security. Additionally, hoverboards can be registered, emphasizing the importance of safety and responsibility.
A highlight of the event is the thrilling bike stunt show scheduled to take place at 3 PM and 6 PM. Professional riders will demonstrate their incredible skills and perform jaw-dropping tricks, leaving spectators in awe.
In addition to the excitement, the Shomrim Bike Registration and Community Kids Event will provide valuable educational resources. Representatives from Shomrim, Nachas Health and Family Network, and HealthFirst will be present to answer questions and provide information on bike safety, pedestrian awareness, and general community safety measures. Families will have access to brochures, pamphlets, and other informative materials to ensure they have the knowledge and tools to stay safe in their community.
Nachas Health and Family Network and HealthFirst are committed to promoting the health and well-being of community members. At the event, attendees will have the opportunity to learn about various health services, including screenings, vaccinations, and health insurance options. Representatives will be available to guide families through the process of enrolling in health insurance plans and provide information on preventive care measures.
The Shomrim Bike Registration and Community Kids Event promises to be an exciting and enriching experience for families in Boro Park. This event provides an excellent opportunity for children to register their bikes, strollers, and hoverboards, ensuring safety and security within the community.
