Approximately two weeks ago, a suspect was caught on surveillance stealing packages from doorsteps in the neighborhood. Shomrim promptly circulated the suspect’s photo to their volunteers, encouraging vigilance during patrols.

Earlier today, Shomrim volunteers spotted the suspect during a patrol. They monitored his movements and ensured he remained in sight while notifying the NYPD.

NYPD officers responded to the scene and arrested the individual.
