On Thursday night, Shomrim received a call regarding a vehicle blocking a driveway, with the driver refusing to move her car to clear the entrance. Shomrim volunteers arrived at the scene and spoke with the driver, requesting that she move her car just a little to allow the homeowner access. Despite the volunteers explaining that the homeowner could have the vehicle ticketed and towed, she refused to comply.
Overnight, the car was towed for blocking the driveway.
On Friday morning, the driver returned to the scene and discovered her car had been towed. Enraged, she began banging on the homeowner’s door. The homeowner immediately called Shomrim for assistance, as the suspect escalated her actions, striking the door repeatedly until it broke down. She then forced her way inside and began shouting.
Shomrim volunteers arrived quickly and immediately notified the NYPD. Officers responded and placed the suspect under arrest for breaking into the house. During the arrest, officers discovered a knife in her possession.
