Shomrim volunteers assisted the NYPD with the arrest of an intoxicated driver.

Shomrim was alerted to a vehicle stopped in the middle of an intersection with the engine running. Volunteers responded quickly to the scene, where they discovered the driver asleep behind the wheel. Concerned for public safety, they immediately notified the NYPD.

Officers arrived promptly, conducted a field sobriety test, and confirmed the driver was intoxicated. The individual was then arrested for driving while intoxicated.
