Shomrim received a hotline call reporting an intoxicated individual who was acting violently and assaulting people at random. The suspect was observed pepper-spraying bystanders, throwing objects at people, and creating a dangerous situation in the area.

Shomrim volunteers immediately responded, keeping the suspect under close watch while making sure pedestrians were moved to safety. The NYPD was quickly notified, and with the help of Shomrim, officers arrived and placed the suspect under arrest.
