A disturbing incident came to light when a victim reached out to the Shomrim hotline for assistance. Shomrim volunteers promptly responded to the scene, speaking with the victim to gather crucial information and securing surveillance footage from nearby properties to help locate the suspect.

Shomrim’s IT team worked meticulously, reviewing the footage frame by frame to trace the suspect’s movements and determine his likely whereabouts.

Meanwhile, volunteers on patrol canvassed the area along the suspect’s route. A volunteer spotted the suspect and immediately alerted additional volunteers to maintain a close watch on the individual’s movements while notifying the NYPD. Officers arrived shortly afterward and successfully took the suspect into custody.
