A suspect was arrested by the NYPD with the help of Shomrim after spray-painting graffiti on a store’s garage gate and another nearby location.

Shomrim volunteers on patrol spotted the individual in the act and quickly alerted nearby volunteers to help follow the suspect while notifying the NYPD. Volunteers maintained a safe distance as the suspect attempted to leave the area.

Officers arrived shortly afterward and placed the individual under arrest.
