At approximately 4:00 a.m., Shomrim volunteers on patrol were flagged down by a witness who saw a suspect being chased by the store manager. Volunteers quickly intervened to assess the situation and learned that the individual had just stolen merchandise from the store.

Shomrim volunteers immediately began following the suspect while alerting the NYPD. Officers arrived shortly after and placed the suspect under arrest.

The stolen items were recovered and returned to the store owner, who expressed appreciation for Shomrim’s rapid response and coordination with police.
