A suspect was taken into custody by the NYPD with the help of Shomrim after shoplifting from a local business. Shomrim received a hotline call from the store owner reporting the theft in progress. Volunteers immediately responded, gathered key information, and notified the NYPD. Officers arrived shortly after and placed the suspect under arrest.
