Shomrim received a hotline call reporting that a suspect was damaging parked vehicles. Shomrim volunteers immediately responded while at the same time notifying the NYPD.

When they arrived, they found that several vehicles had been vandalized, with windows slashed and objects thrown at them. Keeping a safe distance, Shomrim followed the suspect and relayed continuous updates on his location to responding officers.

With the information provided by Shomrim and witnesses, the NYPD arrested the suspect for vandalism.
