A man doing his Shabbos shopping became the victim of a frightening incident after shopping at a local store. As he walked out with his items, a suspect suddenly approached him, began threatening violence, and demanded his groceries. The situation escalated when the suspect began shouting, “I’ll kill you give me your order!”

The victim managed to call for help, and a report was quickly phoned in to the Shomrim hotline. Shomrim volunteers immediately responded and alerted the NYPD, providing details of the suspect and the location.

Thanks to the close coordination between the NYPD and Shomrim, responding officers stopped the suspect nearby and took him into custody for stealing the grocery order.
