A suspect was taken into police custody after stealing an expensive carriage bag from the front porch of a home.

The homeowner spotted the suspect leaving with the carriage bag and immediately contacted Shomrim to report the theft. Shomrim volunteers responded without delay, located the suspect, and followed him while notifying the NYPD.

Police officers stopped the suspect and placed him under arrest. The stolen carriage bag was recovered and returned to its rightful owner.
