The incident unfolded when a homeowner received a call from her neighbor, who noticed suspicious activity in the backyard. Concerned for her safety, the homeowner immediately contacted the Shomrim hotline.

Shomrim volunteers quickly responded and checked the driveway, which initially appeared clear. As they moved closer to a shed at the rear of the property, they heard noises and found the door had been forced open. Upon investigation, they discovered a man hiding inside.
