An assault on 13th Avenue prompted a rapid response from Shomrim after they received a report of the incident. As volunteers gathered details, an update came in that the suspect had fled the scene in a white car.

Without hesitation, Shomrim volunteers began canvassing the area, determined to locate the suspect’s vehicle. Within minutes, one of the volunteers spotted the car just a few blocks away, with the suspect still inside. Shomrim immediately notified the NYPD, who arrived quickly and stopped the vehicle.

The suspect was taken into custody, and the victim was treated on the scene for their injuries.
