Shomrim received a hotline call about a driver who crashed his vehicle into multiple parked cars and ended up in a ditch.

The suspect’s car first struck a parked vehicle, pushing it onto the sidewalk. It then hit a second car waiting at a red light before finally landing in a nearby ditch at a sidewalk under construction.

He tried to leave the scene, but Shomrim volunteers kept watch until the NYPD arrived. The driver was arrested for driving while intoxicated, causing a crash, and property damage.
