A Shomrim volunteer on patrol spotted a car swerving dangerously and followed it for several blocks while notifying the NYPD. During that time, the driver threw a beer bottle out the window.
Other Shomrim volunteers joined in to follow the vehicle, and after a few blocks, NYPD officers arrived, stopped the car, and arrested the driver for driving while intoxicated.
