Shomrim volunteers responded to a hotline call reporting an assault in progress, where a suspect was physically attacking an individual while shouting antisemitic slurs.

Volunteers quickly arrived at the scene, gathered critical information, and observed the suspect fleeing onto an approaching city bus. They followed the bus while continuously updating the NYPD with its location.

Officers intercepted the bus and placed the suspect under arrest. The incident is being investigated by the NYPD as a hate crime.
