Jul 22, AM in response to multispacy. I have tried this method using AUlab and Soundflower in the past It’s more the band-aid type of fix.. However, it is a ‘free’ solution and the VEP5 or Bidule solution isn’t, so if money is tight, this is probably the best alternative ‘free’ method out there I can imagine that latency would be an issue in this case. I personally probably stick to Logic 9 if I need to work with bit plug-ins and maybe bounce these to audio and import them in Logic X.
And maybe in the meantime the few plug-ins that are still 32 bit now will be updated to 64 bit. VEP5 seems great, but it’s expensive if you want to use it just to convert one or two bit plug-ins. Well, yes, it is an expensive solution in that sense.. VEP5 may not be unreasonable especially given that VEP5 allows so much more functionality than simply running 32bit plugins in a 64bit App.. As an aside..
If anything, that ability of VEP5 is very much a side effect rather than one of it’s main features and purposes I personally bought VEP5 a while back for it’s main, load sharing functionality.. You need to deal with it, developers had 3 years to code their softwares into bit osx, if they are too lazy it’s not apple’s fault, if people start blaming them maybe they will finally update the products:.

Just in case you aren’t aware Lennard from Lennar Digital has sent an email to a few owners of Sylenth who had emailed him asking about 64bit suppprt for LPX and in it he stated that they are now working scrambling if truth be known to release a 64bit AU version of Sylenth What a surprise huh?..
